Auditoria.AI has been named to the 2026 Constellation ShortList™ for Decision Intelligence Platforms, our seventh consecutive year on the list, and every edition Constellation Research has published in this category since 2020. In the seven years the category was renamed, the market forecast quadrupled and the vendor cohort tripled. Auditoria was one of four companies that have made every list.
Constellation Research is a Silicon Valley strategic advisory and futurist analyst firm. The ShortList is not a paid placement. For each market category, Constellation evaluates more than ten solutions and names only the ones early adopters need to know, determined by client inquiries, partner conversations, customer references, live vendor selection projects, market share and internal research, measured against published threshold criteria.
The category has a new name. What Constellation called "AI-Driven Cognitive Applications" from 2020 through 2025 is, in 2026, "Decision Intelligence Platforms." The underlying thesis is unchanged, self-driving and self-learning systems that run critical processes such as order to cash, procure to pay and campaign to lead, continuously automating precision decisions at scale. What changed is the emphasis: from cognition to decisions, and from automating tasks to owning outcomes.
Fifteen solutions to know. Aera Technology, Auditoria.AI, Catalytic, Celonis, Cognizant Neuro, Digitate ignio, FICO, IBM, Infosys Topaz, Pegasystems, Qualtrics, SAS, TCS Neural Decision Synthesis, Wipro, and Zapier.
The incumbents have arrived. Six entries are new this year, FICO, IBM, Pegasystems, Qualtrics, SAS and TCS Neural Decision Synthesis. When the analytics and decisioning giants show up in a category they previously sat out, it is a signal that the buyer budget is now real. It also raises the bar for everyone already on the list.
The bar itself moved. Constellation expanded its threshold criteria from 11 to 14, and the additions tell you exactly where the category is heading: real-time data integration, strong governance, human-in-the-loop integration, and a business context and semantic layer. "Journey orchestration" became "process and journey orchestration." Translation for buyers: models alone no longer qualify. A decision intelligence platform now has to act on live data, show its work, respect enterprise controls with governed autonomy and keep a human in the loop when necessary.
The business themes it maps to. Data to Decisions, Future of Work, New C-Suite, Technology Optimization, Matrix Commerce, Marketing Transformation, Next-Generation Customer Experience, and Digital Safety & Privacy, which is another way of saying this category no longer belongs to IT alone.
This is the summary. The report has the full criteria, the complete vendor set, and Constellation’s own analysis of where decision intelligence goes next.
