In today’s world, every major company has had to deal with the threat of Cyberattacks, Ransomware, and employee/end-user-focused data exfiltration efforts.
ERP and Finance Applications and their sensitive data are prime targets for hackers, and companies are being forced to assert greater controls to ward off these attacks.
Over the last few years, a new paradigm called Zero Trust Security has emerged as a framework that companies can rely on as they battle these cyber threats. Zero Trust is a security framework requiring all users, whether in or outside the organization’s network, to be authenticated, authorized, and continuously validated for security configuration and posture before being granted or keeping access to applications and data.
Zero Trust assumes that there is no traditional network edge; networks can be local, in the cloud, or a combination or hybrid with resources anywhere and workers in any location. This framework is defined by various industry guidelines, such as Forrester eXtended, Gartner’s CARTA, and more recently NIST 800-207, as an optimal way to address current security challenges for a cloud-first, work from anywhere world.
Today, I’m proud to state that Auditoria.AI now supports the principles of Zero Trust Security by delivering Universal Authentication for our SaaS services. Built-in collaboration with our partners at Okta and Auth0, Auditoria.AI now offers Universal Login and authentication support in our SmartFlow platform with our latest release, 22.6.3.
Each time an Auditoria user needs to prove their identity, the SmartFlow platform will redirect to Universal Login, and Okta/Auth0 will do what is needed to guarantee the user’s identity. The login flows then seamlessly handle session management, access to other protected applications through single sign-on, and more.
By choosing Universal Login, you don’t have to do any integration work to handle the various flavors of authentication. You can start off using a simple username and password. You can add other features such as social login and multi-factor authentication (MFA). All of this is dynamic and adjustable in real-time. Your user experience will benefit from any improvements our security and engineering teams handle behind the scenes. Best of all, Universal Login is standards-based with support for protocols including SAML, OpenIDConnect, and more, seamlessly built into Auditoria’s SmartFlow Platform.
Auditoria.AI takes data and application security very seriously. We’ve continued to invest in security, threat prevention, and vulnerability management, with controls across all application stack layers.
With support for Universal Login and Zero trust security, enterprise customers can gain the confidence that their users have additional layers of access control to ensure a safe and trusted autonomous finance experience.
